League for Web Security3 (LSW3) – Building a bulwark against blockchain fraud

The League for Web Security3 (LSW3) was created in response to the numerous scams and threats plaguing the blockchain ecosystem. With nearly 40 leading players on board, the initiative aims to strengthen collaboration between the public and private sectors to combat these risks. Launch of League for Web Security3 (LSW3)

Faced with fraud and threats that abound in the blockchain ecosystem, around forty leading players have come together to launch the League for Web Security3 (LSW3).

Complementing Adan, the largest group of players in the Web3 industry in France and Europe, LSW3 aims to strengthen collaboration between the public and private sectors to combat fraud present in the ecosystem.

Specifically, the League for Web3 Security represents a network for the exchange of various entities related to Web3 issues. It will also launch a “threat intelligence” platform in partnership with Campus Cyber.a symbolic place for cyber security in France that welcomes companies of all sizes, public services, training organizations, research players and associations.

Powered by industry leaders, LSW3 is a legal association since 1901 composed of leading players in the French Web3 sphere :

  • Sebastien Martin (CEO and co-founder of RAID Square), President;
  • Fabien Aufrechter (VP Web3 at Vivendi), General Secretary;
  • David Prinçay (President of Binance France), Vice President;
  • Alain Broustail (CEO and co-founder of Blockchain EZ), Vice President;
  • Merlin’s equality (co-founder of Morpho Labs), Vice President;
  • Dominique Penin (Kramer Levin LLP White Collar Partner), Treasurer;
  • General Christophe Hussonhonorary vice president, representing ComCyber-MI.

The Web3 Security League aims to serve as an interface between public authorities and private entities on issues of hacking, fraud or fraud in the web3 ecosystem. It should also serve as a preventive and training area.

Regarding the plan of this welcome project, LSW3 plans to organize and attend conferences to raise public awareness of Web3 security issuesorganize workshops with public actors, launch awareness campaigns on social networks and, above all, ensure sector monitoring in cooperation with politicians and regulatory authorities.
